Short version: we don't sell it, we don't rent it, and we don't share it with anyone you haven't asked us to. Here's the longer version, in plain English.
When you call us, email us, or send a message through the contact form, we collect what you choose to tell us — usually your name, your phone number or email, and a few details about your situation so we can actually help. We don't ask for a Social Security number, a Medicare number, or banking details over the website.
When you eventually apply for a plan, the carrier or the State of Connecticut will ask for more — date of birth, income, current coverage. That information goes to them on their secure systems, with your go-ahead, not into a database we keep for marketing.
To return your call, answer your question, compare your options, and — if you decide to move forward — submit an application and follow up on it. That's the whole list.
We don't sell or rent your information to anyone. We share it only when you've asked us to start an application — for example, with an insurance carrier you've chosen, or with a Connecticut state program you're enrolling in. We may also share it if the law requires it. Otherwise it stays with us.
This site is plain HTML. It doesn't run advertising trackers or sell visit data. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people actually read, so we know what's worth writing more of — it sets cookies and collects general, non-identifying usage data like pages viewed, rough location, and device type. We don't use it to build advertising profiles or follow you around the web. The fonts load from Google Fonts, and the contact form is handled by a third-party form service so your message reaches us by email; each has its own privacy terms. If you'd rather not be counted, you can install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on or use your browser's privacy settings.
You can ask us what we have, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — just call or email. If you'd rather we not follow up after a first conversation, say so, and we won't. We don't run drip campaigns or sell you to a lead broker.
Last updated June 2026. This is a plain-English summary for visitors to this website; it is not a substitute for the disclosures a carrier or the State of Connecticut provides when you apply for coverage. Questions? Call (203) 350·2026 or email hello@shorelineandsound.com.
