Built to be read by everyone.

Plenty of the people we help are seniors, or are helping a parent. A site they can't read isn't doing its job. Here's what we do, and how to tell us when we've missed.

What we aim for

We build toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level as our standard. That means readable type, real contrast, text that scales when you zoom, descriptions on images, and pages you can move through with a keyboard, not just a mouse.

How the site is built

Generous text sizes and a calm, high-contrast palette. A single, consistent layout instead of pop-ups, carousels, or moving banners. Plain HTML that works with screen readers and reflows cleanly on a phone. No flashing or auto-playing anything.

If something gets in your way

If any part of this site is hard to read or use — or if you'd simply rather have something explained over the phone or in person at your kitchen table — call (203) 350·2026 or email hello@shorelineandsound.com. Tell us the page and what happened, and we'll fix it and get you the information another way.

Other formats

Need a document read aloud, a large-print summary, or a meeting in person? Just ask. We do this work face to face all the time, and the website is only one way to reach us.

Last updated June 2026. This is a plain-English summary for visitors to this website; it is not a substitute for the disclosures a carrier or the State of Connecticut provides when you apply for coverage. Questions? Call (203) 350·2026 or email hello@shorelineandsound.com.
